Memo 2016-15 Commissioner's Order Dated August 31, 2016
On August 31, 2016, Ms. Julie P. Magee, Commissioner of Revenue, issued an order to temporarily suspend the requirements associated with the International Registration Plan (IRP) and International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA) for any motor vehicle engaged in interstate disaster relief efforts in the State of Louisiana or traveling through the State of Alabama as part of the disaster relief. The order is effective for thirty (30) after the signing of the executive order.
