News Amended Title Admin Rules (Cont'd) - Effective September 14, 2020



• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.38 has been amended to update procedures for using the dealer reassignment form (MVT 8-3) with both certificates of title and manufacturer statements of origin. 

• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.40 has been amended to include language for the acceptance of electronic signatures in accordance with the Federal Truth in Mileage Act and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration rules. 

• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.42 has been amended to allow for the electronic submission of title applications and supporting documents and provides updated procedures for the maintenance of records by designated agents. 

• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.58 has been amended to update procedures for the titling of multistage vehicles. 

• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.61 has been amended to update procedures for the remittance of fees by designated agents. 

• Administrative Rule 810-5-75-.66 has been amended to update procedures related to the cancellation of a certificate of origin or certificate of title for a manufactured home designated with a year model 2000 and newer that is permanently affixed to a parcel of real property. Additionally, the rule authorizes the department to accept electronic submission of title applications and supporting documents.
