Public Title Portal Updates
The Release of Lien Application has been added to the Public Title Portal and allows applicants to apply online to Release a Lien on an existing AL title.
The paper form, MVT 5-63 Notice of Lien Release, has been removed from the Department's website.
The Public Title Portal (https://title.mvtrip.alabama.gov/) enables users to check the status of title applications, update addresses for returned titles, apply for replacement titles, and apply to add, continue, transfer, or release a lien to an AL title.
